(August 30th, 2022)…..We are just 5 days away from the 2022 edition of the Outlaw Kart Showcase. With a new format on the table bringing the show to a 3-Day Event, it’s important to know when the action is set to get under way each night.
Sunday Night: Pit Gate is scheduled to open at 12:00 pm. Registration will begin at 3:30 pm and will be open until 6:00 pm. No late sign-ups will be permitted. Once Registration is closed, we will not allow for any late sign-ups. The registration booth will be set up at the bottom of the Grandstands. You will pay your $100 Entry Fee to compete and draw a Pill for your qualifying position. If you need to rent a transponder, they will be $30 total for the 3-Nights. We do ask that all transponders be returned to us nightly. You will just need to pick it up the following day before the event begins. Once registration is closed, we will hold the Drivers Meeting in the Grandstands at 6:00 pm before getting Open Karts on the track for Wheel Packing at 6:30 pm.
Monday Night: Pit Gate is scheduled to open at 12:00 pm. Registration will begin at 3:30 pm and will be open until 6:00 pm. Once again, no late sign-ups will be permitted. For those that raced on Sunday Night, you do NOT need to pay another entry fee to race. If you did not race on Sunday and are only racing Monday/Tuesday, you will need to pay your $100 entry fee when registering & drawing a pill. All drivers need to come to registration and sign in/draw a pill both nights. Once registration is closed, we will hold the Drivers Meeting in the Grandstands at 6:00 pm before getting Open Karts on the track for Wheel Packing at 6:30 pm.
Tuesday Night: Pit Gate is scheduled to open at 12:00 pm. There is no registration/check-in/pill draw necessary on Tuesday Night. If you haven’t raced either of the first two nights and wish to tag the back of the lowest scheduled race, you will have to pay the full $100 entry fee to do so, please check in with the scoring tower if this is the case. Lineups will be posted for the Qualifiers & King of the Hill Dashes by 3:00 pm. The Drivers Meeting will be held at 6:00 pm with Hot Laps beginning at 6:30 pm. The Open Class is the only class that will Wheel Pack/Hot Lap to help get the racing surface race ready. Once Hot Laps are completed, we will go straight into the Qualifiers for all classes.
Caged Clones: The Caged Clones will run a different format than that of the other classes. Caged Clone drivers will pay a $25 Entry Fee each night. They will qualify to set the Lineup for a 25 Lap Main Event each night. There will be no Heat Races. Main Event Lineup will be straight up based off Qualifying Times. Caged Clones are the only class that WILL need to register to compete on Tuesday Night.
Below you will find the detailed event schedule. The times listed throughout this schedule are just an estimate and may vary. Order of Events is subject to change as always, please make sure to check the whiteboard before each event, so you know when and where to go out onto the racetrack.
